Eggless Vanilla Sponge Cake
Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- Maida 200gm
- Baking powder 1 teaspoon
- Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
- Milk powder 100 gm
Sift all the dry ingredients and keep it aside
Wet ingredients
- Milk 100 gm
- Castor sugar 100 gm
- Oil 100gm
- Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
Method
- In a bowl mix milk , sugar and oil and beat it till fluffy.
- In this mixture add sifted dry ingredients gradually and then whisk it with electric beater until smooth batter is formed .
- Now add vanilla essence
- Grease the mould with some oil and maida and pour the batter in it and put it in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for 25 to 30 min .
Note:
- Preheat oven for 10 to 15 min at 160 degrees
- All the ingredients should be at room temperature
